From scholarships and free healthcare to community awareness programmes — JIS Group's CSR initiatives are ongoing, measurable and deeply rooted in social equity.
JIS Sumedha — Free Education for the Meritorious & Underprivileged
JIS Sumedha is JIS Group's flagship scholarship programme — launched to ensure that no deserving student is denied quality technical education because of financial hardship. Selected students receive a full scholarship for their entire course duration at any JIS Group institution, completely free of charge.
Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Sciences & Research (GNIDSR) — West Bengal's oldest private dental college — organises regular free dental check-up camps for school and college students and at community awareness drives across the region. Doctors provide treatment for critical dental ailments at subsidised fees, bringing quality oral healthcare to those who cannot afford it.
JIS Group regularly organises community outreach programmes in partnership with local schools and government bodies — covering topics such as digital literacy, career guidance, women's education, health awareness and environmental sustainability. These programmes extend the JIS mission directly into underserved communities across Eastern India.
