About Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering is the historical name for what is now called electrical, electronics, and computer engineering. Electrical engineering is a broad field of engineering which deals with the science and technology involving electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism, to design, construct, and maintain products, services, and information systems.
It is a four-year degree program that aims to provide advanced education in engineering that is relevant to electrical power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization. Apart from the basic knowledge and skill in electrical engineering, students also undertake the core syllabus that requires specialization during the final year.
