JIS Group proudly announces and congratulates Narula Institute of Technology, Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, JIS College of Engineering, for been awarded as a NIRF Ranked Institution. Narula Institute of Technology, has been awarded as a NIRF Ranked Institution fourth time in a row. With being awarded consistently since 2017, it has been one of the few colleges in the country to have received this recognition more than 3 times year after year. Another one of our Engineering colleges receiving this recognition is the JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani, which has also, being awarded as a NIRF Ranked Institute in 2020 by the Government of India. In the field of Pharmacy, our Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology received the prestigious rank among the various pharmacy colleges across the country.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) approved by the MHRD, is a framework to acknowledge and appreciate educational quality across the country. It outlines a methodology to rank institutions in India drawn from overall recommendations and broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by MHRD, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. The parameters broadly cover Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity, and Perception.
