So far my experience of studying in JISCE has been truly majestic. The College has got the most competitive resources for producing thebest engineers. Apart from technical knowledge the experienced faculty members have also helped me to gain lot of other confidence and develop a holistic personality to suit the requirements of the industry. It was a very prestigious moment when I was selected as the Campus Brand Ambassador from JIS college of Engineering to represent my college at a national level for the conclave “Xperience Cognizant ‘12” held during 17-19th February ‘12 in Chennai. The entire event was customized to give students an insight into the corporate world. I got to interact with some of the great minds behind Cognizant which has been a fascinating learning experience for me.
Being a part of this college makes me very proud. I am indebted to JISCE for providing me with everything that I need to become a skilled engineer and an effective professional.
Hello everyone, I am Sharbani Sengupta, a student of final year IT. This College has made me confident and equipped me to face any kind of challenges in life. The relentless support of all the faculty members helped me to excel in my academic pursuits. Thus, I could be a constant performer throughout the semesters with above 9 point as my cgpa. All thanks goes to the College and the faculty. Not only studies, this college has provided us with enough refreshment and entertainment through regular cultural programmes like college fest, freshers welcome, farewell ceremony etc. To sum up, this college has offered us a blend of lively campus life alongwith academic discipline which is necessary to lead one’s way to a perfect success.

I, Aritra Das a former student of B.Tech in Food Technology from Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, 2011 pass out batch, hereby declare wholeheartedly that during my course of study I gained profound knowledge and experience from the department of Food Technology. The department not only teaches students but also uplifts student capability and i can well admit this because I topped in WBUT and have been awarded with GOLD medal for my academic performance. Nevertheless, it is the credit and hard labour of the department after me that today I am a student of Master of Bioprocess Engg (Chemical Engg Dept.), Jadavpur University and again topped among all streams with 9.85(96.5%) of marks in the 1st semester examinations.
I can firmly say that our college possesses highly experienced teachers and professors, well equipped lab for continuous testing which is required for technical training helped us in our academic performance in the semester exams as well as to acquire sound technical knowledge.
Besides academic pursuits the college also encouraged annual fest, football and cricket tournaments, freshers welcome party and so on for all round development. Moreover, I am also thankful to all our teachers, staffs and respective principal sir for providing us such a quality technical education. Last but not the least ; I have been selected in the campus interview of TVS Motors and Iam ever grateful to my college for giving me such a great opportunity.

I am the final year student of 3 years bachelor Degree course in Hotel Management. During these three years of my journey after passing out of Higher Secondary, I learnt a lot of things from Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management. I not only became expert in my professional field but also got insights to become an effective human being. I thoroughly enjoyed my college life with expert team of teachers, technical staffs, Principal, Dean of GNIHM. Eventually, in the final year I was overwhelmed when I was offered four jobs in different sectors of Hospitality Industry. But at last I gladly decided to join Taj group of hotels in India.

I spent my best student life in NIT. Here both the teaching and non-teaching staffs are friendly and helping. Classes are held regularly. Library facilities are good. I am a student of Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College under JIS Group Educational Initiatives from ECE, 4th semester stream. There is a common perception that newly established colleges often lack infrastructure and facilities required to study a BTech course. However, in our case though the college came into existence in 2009, this perception proves to be a myth since the Institute provides the best classroom facilities and up-todate practical laboratories which is helping us to get trained with the essential skills required to excel in the industry.
